Join Our Network of Authentic Italian Food Retailers in Ontario

ICCO Canada would like to invite you to be part of the True Italian Taste project and join our network of authentic Italian food retailers in Ontario. By joining this network, you will be part of a program whose aim is to promote authentic Italian products with consumers and help them make informed choices when grocery shopping.

The information provided will be added in the section on this website that is dedicated to Italian retailers in Ontario, which includes a page for each store with their details as well as a geographical map to locate the individual stores. Consumers will be able to search for the stores nearest to them when they are grocery shopping and looking for authentic Italian products.

Who can join this network?

Points of sale belonging to small distribution chains
Food retailers
Gourmet and boutique stores
Food shops specialising in organic and/or nutraceutical products
Cafeterias and bakeries selling packaged food products from Italy
Restaurants selling food products from Italy
Virtual stores (e-commerce sites), provided they deliver in Ontario and operate independently from distribution chains

What are the requirements to join?

Applying retailers must sell a minimum number of 5 authentically Italian brands with at least 1 product for each brand.

Applications and memberships are free of charge.

To join the network, you are required to send your application form to the ICCO Canada.
The data provided and possession of the minimum requirements to join, are self-certified by the applicant.

Approval of applications will be confirmed by ICCO Canada after review of all completed forms.

What are the benefits for joining this network?

You will be able to:

Increase your visibility with potential customers, and take advantage of the promotional activities organized by ICCO Canada as part of the True Italian Taste program, free of charge
Be included in the list of retailers and the geographical map on this website for the promotion of the Authentic Italian products available in Ontario, free of charge
Participate, should you wish to do so, in other initiatives of your choice for the promotion of authentic Italian products organised by ICCO Canada (subject to a participation fee, to be determined)

As your commitment to be part of our network of authentic Italian retailers we ask you to:

Guarantee the truthfulness of the data provided in the application form
Accept any on-site check that ICCO Canada may carry out on a sample basis to verify the truthfulness of what has been declared in your application form
Promptly communicate any changes or updates to what has been declared in your application form by contacting ICCO Canada
