Part 3 of 4 – Veneto
In the third episode of this series, food and wine critic Luca Iaccarino travelled to the region of Veneto to discover all there is to know about the Tai Rosso grape variety. This grape is typical of the wonderful Berici Hills. During his visit to Noventa Vicentina he sat down with a local tavern owner, and with sommelier Luca Grezzani to learn more about this extraordinary grape and the origins of its name.
Iaccarino had previously visited the regions of Puglia and Marche, learning about the Susumaniello and Pecorino grape varieties that are traditional of these two Italian regions.
This web series was organized in collaboration with the Associazione Italiana Sommelier (Italian Sommelier Association) for the True Italian Taste project.
