From 2023 onward, passengers will be able to embark on an out-of-a-dream travelling experience on board of the Dolce Vita Express.
Six trains, each with 62 guests’ capacity, will feature 12 deluxe cabins, 18 suites and one honour suite. The variety of the cabins will give passengers an experience of Italy in all its facets. The itinerary will cover roughly 16 thousand kilometers. This will allow its passengers to appreciate not only the 131 cities across 14 Italian regions, but also experience beautiful landscape and rural areas such as Langhe in Piedmont and Val D’Orcia in Umbria.
This travelling experience will be a combination of beautifully designed accommodations and common spaces, and exquisite meals prepared on the train. Inspired by the vibrant Italian 1960s, La Dolce Vita Express will bring its guests through a unique itinerary in carriages inspired by the dreamy atmosphere of Fellini movies. The Milan-based architecture studio Dimorestudio created the one of a kind interior inspired by the 60s and 70s aesthetics. Travelers will have access to the five-star restaurant aboard, offering the finest dishes of Italian cuisine.
The Italian national company Trenitalia and luxury hospitality expert operator Arsenale S.p.A. collaborated on this joint project to propose a sophisticated, high class and unapologetically Italian luxurious travelling adventure. The main idea behind this project is to offer a tourist experience and an environment-friendly journey with the aim of slowly “tasting” all of the Made in Italy the country has to offer.
